Joking aside, the younger you begin your savings, the easier it is to be wealthy later on. That doesn’t mean, as in the case of a Miser, hoarding and meanness, it means carefully controlling where the money is going. It is perfectly possible to have nice things and not pay full price for them, enabling you to put aside some money each month for savings. There are ways of having good times without paying the highest forex prices to get them. Be creative when thinking of the less expensive route. Gifts for example need not be bought, you can offer to baby sit or read to someone, garden or do their shopping.
